Nike Base Clubhouse Station
The STARS Nike Base Club Station, WB2ELW, is located at the Town of Hamburg Recreational Facility on Lakeview Road, and is available year-round in a climate-controlled setting for meetings, on-the-air operation, contesting, and special events. It is open every Thursday from 7-10 PM for members to visit and/or operate. We are able to operate on all bands from 160 meters through 70 centimeters.

Our station will operate SSB, CW, AM, FM, and a wide variety of digital modes, including the newly popular FT8. Our PC’s are used for logging, internet access, and digital modes. WiFi is available to club members, and on a limited basis to visitors to the Nike Base recreation grounds. Our club call sign, WB2ELW, is one that has been recognized around the world! Our club members have brought home a plaque from the New York State QSO Party on multiple occasions.
